Live lectures
Here you will find a list of topics on which we organize lectures with live animals for schools, kindergartens, summer camps and the general public. The venue is at your school/organization or even in a café.
We explain the chosen lecture topic in a way that matches the age of the group - we adapt its scope and difficulty to the participants.
The lecture is usually 45 minutes or 90 minutes long. The number of places is limited to approximately 30 participants - this ensures a more personal approach, interaction and a full experience. (Slight overcrowding is possible.)
The price is always calculated individually according to the chosen topic, time frame and related travel costs.
If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact us for a non-binding calculation.
Each group is individual, so we always adapt the program to your requirements and ideas.
We will look forward to it!
The life of spiders - a look into their world
Anna Vedralová
Spiders are fascinating creatures that play an important role in nature, yet they still cause concern in many people. This lecture is primarily about their lives – how they work , what their abilities are and why they are irreplaceable for the ecosystem . At the same time, it is about awakening emotions and perceiving spiders as interesting and unique animals. We will also touch on the issue of fear and its origin, but the main goal is to understand spiders and their place in nature.
Live spider demonstration , presentation.

Invertebrates - those who hold nature together
Anna Vedralová
Invertebrates make up the majority of all known animal species on Earth, yet people often know little about them. In this lecture, we will look at their main groups and basic divisions , show how important they play in nature and why they are indispensable to ecosystems.
Lectures can be focused on, for example, ornithopods , beetles , cockroaches , or other fascinating groups that prove that even the smallest creature can be a masterpiece of evolution.

Food chain - everything is connected
Anna Vedralová
In nature, everyone has a job to do – from the smallest fly to the largest predator . This lecture describes how animals are interconnected and why they cannot exist without each other. We will start with insects, which are food for reptiles and birds, and end with larger animals that are at the top of the food chain . We will talk about why even the smallest larva can decide the survival of an ecosystem , and how fragile this balance actually is.
Live demonstration of selected animal species, presentation.

Travel lecture - animals around the world
Anna Vedralová
How do you find animals in their natural habitat? What does it involve observing reptiles, amphibians, or insects in places like the Philippines or Sri Lanka ? In this lecture, we will look at field trips to find exotic species, but also at the ethical side of travel – what to support on vacation and what to avoid if we really want to help nature.
Photos and videos from trips, stories from the field.

Lecture on request
Anna Vedralová
Each lecture can be prepared according to your focus or specific topic of interest.
It could be, for example, entomology (what awakens in spring, what an ideal garden for insects, beetles...) or herpetology , or amphibian conservation (urbanization and its impact on their lives, how to help them).
But there are many more options – just tell us what you would like to discover.
